This started out as being just a fun illustration project by putting my spin on the classic movie theater characters. I started by making a print, then with some public interest I thought I'd try my luck on Cotton Bureau. I did a series of ads for all social media platforms to promote the shirt during its run on the site. After my success with the shirts I had another batch of prints made up as well as putting the popsicle on Sticker Mule.
This is current personal project in which I am in the process of creating profile portraits of Disney animation characters for 100 days. I'll start by sketching out the out the character in pencil then bring the sketch into the computer and vectorize it. I want to evolve my pencil drawing skills as well as my digital illustration ability.
This is a freelance project I took on in college. I was tasked with making a gig poster every week for the Local Love concert series. I was free to do whatever style or concept I chose. I was able to try new things without push back, which helped me find my love for illustration.
Here's a collection of miscellaneous illustrations and animations from various projects.
This illustration was just a fun exercise. After seeing Avengers: Age of Ultron, I was excited about the addition of the Vision. Maybe someday I'll do a run of prints.
These prints are an ongoing gift to my best friend. I made her a print for every trip we've been on together, and I plan to continue to add to the collection for every new adventure we have. Each print has a unique design representative of that city/event.
This was my entry in Third Man Records contest to design a cover for Olivia Jean's Merry Widow single. My design was chosen as one of the top 15 finalists among hundreds of entries by Olivia herself.
I was asked to design a poster at work (Basecraft) that meant "I am a Champion" to me. The poster was part of a new brand launch at the beginning of 2015. The design was then made into a temporary animated homepage for Basecraft (his arm flexed).
